Bruce Eatroff

Chairman of the Board, RevContent
Star Mountain Capital

Bruce Eatroff has over thirty years of private equity, private credit, fund investing, investment banking and operational experience through various senior roles including at Goldman Sachs, UBS, CIBC and BMO Capital Markets.

In 2000, Mr. Eatroff founded Halyard Capital, raising over $600 million, a U.S. lower middle-market private equity fund manager with sophisticated institutional investors including Goldman Sachs, Abbott Capital and Bank of Montreal.

Mr. Eatroff is a recognized thought leader in the alternative asset management industry having spoken at over 100 industry conferences. He is the Co-President of the Wharton Private Equity & Venture Capital Association and the former Chairman of the Lafayette College Leadership Council (2011 – 2015).

Mr. Eatroff received an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BA with honors from Lafayette College.

Richard Marques

RevContent, CEO

Richard Marques currently serves as the CEO of RevContent. Richard has helped lead the company’s growth and strategy since its founding in 2013. Prior to his appointment as CEO, Marques served as both CMO and COO.

Richard received a B.S. in Advertising from the University of Florida.  

Andrew Bernstein

Capital Dynamics

Andrew is a Senior Managing Director, Head of Private Equity and member of both the Private Equity Investment Committee and Private Credit Investment Committee as well as the Executive Committee. 

Andrew is also a senior member of the Co-Investment team and he serves on the board of directors of multiple portfolio companies. He has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment management. 

Andrew holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management from Binghamton University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.

Jon Barnes

Jonathan Barnes

Star Mountain Capital

Jonathan Barnes has more than 20 years of private equity investing and investment banking experience, including at Morgan Stanley.

Mr. Barnes was a Partner at Halyard Capital, a U.S. lower middle-market private equity fund manager where he spent 15 years. Mr. Barnes helped lead Halyard’s successful investment of over $600 million in the technology, business services, media and communications industries, backed by sophisticated institutional investors such as Goldman Sachs, Abbott Capital and the Bank of Montreal.

Mr. Barnes has a broad spectrum of private equity investing experience across technology-enabled services industries including Human Capital Management, Digital and Direct Marketing and IT/Cybersecurity Services. 

Mr. Barnes received an MBA with honors from Columbia Business School and an AB (cum laude) from Harvard University where he played JV lacrosse, among other activities.

Steve Horowitz

Ziff Davis

Steve Horowitz oversees the businesses within the Ziff Tech & Shopping Group, and Ziff Gaming Group. Steve was formerly Senior Vice President, General Manager at Bankrate Inc., the leading aggregator of personal finance and mortgage content.

At Bankrate, Steve directed product and business strategy, and spearheaded the portal’s transformation into one of the leading destinations that allowed consumers to research and purchase consumer financial products, ranging from mortgages to deposit products to credit cards. Steve is currently a member of the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) Board of Directors. 

Steve received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English from the State University of New York at Oswego.

Tom Reddin

Red Dog Ventures LLC

Tom Reddin is Managing Partner of Red Dog Ventures LLC, a venture capital and advisory firm focused on helping early stage digital companies achieve the next level of growth. Red Dog Ventures’ portfolio includes equity positions in companies in the following sectors: content marketing, data analytics, search engine optimization, Internet lead-generation, social media management, and online education.

Tom is the former President, and then CEO of LendingTree. He was an early stage member of the team that built the company from a small Internet start-up to a national brand and the country’s leader in online lending. 

Tom is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and received his MBA from New York University, with Distinction. 

Ben Waldshan

TI Health

Ben Waldshan founded Data Warehouse in 1997 and became the leading prospect data provider within the mortgage and home equity industry. In 2006, Data Warehouse was acquired by TRANZACT. Ben became President of Tranzact Information Services and, with a talented team, grew the business both organically and through acquisitions.

In late 2011, Ben with his leadership team led a successful spin-off of Tranzact Information Services in partnership with Halyard Capital. In February 2012, Tranzact Information Services was rebranded as Datamyx, and four years later, Datamyx was acquired by Deluxe Corporation (NYSE: DLX) in October 2015. Ben was Vice President of Marketing Solutions at Deluxe for two years building one of the fastest growing business units at Deluxe. Currently, Ben invests and advises early stage and growth stage businesses and is on the boards of Aberdeen, TI Health and GlynnDevins. 

Ben graduated from Wayne State University with a B.A. in Business and Finance.

Jeremy Hlavacek

Experian Marketing Services

As head of global automated monetization at IBM Watson Advertising, Jeremy Hlavacek oversees all programmatic monetization efforts globally as well as the data partnerships team, which drives off-property data and inventory partnerships with platforms and other publishers.

Previously, Hlavacek was vice president of programmatic. In that role, he oversaw all domestic programmatic sales efforts, platform relationships and programmatic operations. Under his leadership, the programmatic business grew 500% over a 3 year period to become one of the largest and most sophisticated sell side programmatic businesses in the industry. 

Hlavacek holds a master’s degree in business administration from Cornell University, a master’s degree in media and communication from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a bachelor’s degree from the College of William and Mary.

Christian Hendricks

Christian Hendricks is an award-winning and highly respected digital media executive known for his keen strategic thinking and operating skills. He gets things done while having fun and being realistic. He is a people-focused leader with significant experience in digital, marketing, product, audience, innovation, sales, strategy, operations, M&A, board of directors, and P&L. His “we,” not “me” leadership style has been key to the many successes realized throughout his career.

Hendricks currently serves as the President of the Local Media Consortium, which he co-founded in 2013. In addition to his current board positions at Basis Technologies and Site Impact, Hendricks has previously held executive roles at McClatchy and served as a board member of Cars.com, CareerBuilder, and Apartments.com.

Hendricks lives in Holly Springs, North Carolina, and enjoys golf and participating in Masters Track & Field competitions. He holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania.

John Donahue

Up and to the Right

John Donahue is the CEO and co-founder of White Lightning + Judge’s Son, a media consultancy focused on auction-based media platforms.

John has 20 years of experience building creative strategic solutions that help shape brands using insights, analytics and digital technology. He has served in several key roles at Socialistic (part of Havas) and was formerly Global Director at Omnicom Media Group, where he helped to build the business units now known as Annalect and Accuen.

Kesna Lawrence is a data, analytics, and product expert with two decades of experience building and maintaining large scale data-driven marketing technology database environments.

These environments have supported the largest direct marketers across Mortgage, Credit Card, Insurance, Banking, and Alternative Finance.

As a founding member of Datamyx, where he served as Chief Data Scientist, he built the country’s first multi-tenant single instance tri-bureau prospect database and next generation automated analytics platform.

Kesna serves as a board advisor for several marketing and technology companies across Healthcare and Digital Advertising industries.
