Being included on this list is a testament to the hard work our staff has put in since our inception in 2013 to ensure that we are reliable partners, open to change and committed to constant improvement.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In 2018, RevContent launched initiatives aimed at improving ad quality and eliminating fake news and misinformation. To improve ad quality, Lemp and RevContent worked with the National Center on Sexual Exploitation to eliminate sexually explicit content from its vast network completely. After months of work, RevContent became the first network to receive an endorsement from the NCOSE for ad quality. The partnership built trust with partners and gave RevContent an independent organization to be transparent with and accountable to moving forward.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cTheir regular compliance audits, human review process, and continued collaborative dialogue with the National Center on Sexual Exploitation set them apart as a company that is dedicated to doing its part for a world free from sexual exploitation,\u201d said Patrick Trueman, president and CEO of NCOSE. \u201cWe invite other companies in this industry, such as Outbrain and Taboola, to follow RevContent\u2019s lead and work with us for socially responsible native advertising.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Later in 2018, RevContent turned to the Poynter Institute\u2019s International Fact Checking Network to address fake news and misinformation. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">RevContent revised its policy for fake news to remove the financial incentive for publishers to post misinformation. In the new policy, if two independent fact checkers within the International Fact Checking Network flag a story as false from a publisher within the RevContent network, RevContent removes its content recommendation widget from that piece of content and withholds any revenue generated by that piece of content.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIt is up to us to not only improve the RevContent network but also to identify ways to improve the industry as a whole,\u201d Lemp said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">In addition to increased brand safety measures, RevContent also launched the AutomaticRev program, which offers a 50 percent guaranteed uplift in revenue for RevContent\u2019s product compared to other content recommendation feeds. The <\/span><b><i>AutomaticRev<\/i><\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> guarantee program allows publishers to increase revenue with the same ad placements and ad quality, but with automatic <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201crevenue you can depend on.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cA lot of companies make claims, but aren\u2019t able to back it up,\u201d Lemp said. \u201cBy offering our partners a guarantee, we are able to build trust in our product, and our ability to deliver on
