Answers for publishers, newsletter owners, and advertisers.
RevContent is a native advertising platform that takes publisher monetization beyond the web page, into email newsletters, mobile apps, and Apple News. It connects more than 1,500 performance advertisers with over 75 million people each month, across 4,000+ sites and 500+ newsletters from 1,000+ direct publishers. Founded in 2013, RevContent is headquartered in Sarasota, Florida.
RevContent runs native, display, email newsletter, and in-app ads, including Apple News, through one publisher partnership across 4,000+ sites from 1,000+ direct publishers. RevContent has no minimum traffic requirement, monetizes 500+ email newsletters, and its Apple News units are approved through Apple's Preferred Vendor Program.
Every ad's image, headline, and landing page is reviewed before it runs, usually within 1 to 2 business days. RevContent prohibits nine content categories, including illegal or dangerous products, sexually explicit content, deceptive practices, unsubstantiated claims, and marketing to minors, and restricts 15 more, such as alcohol, finance, crypto, gambling, health, and politics. RevContent filters invalid clicks out of billing and deactivates publishers suspected of sending fraudulent traffic. Filters screen out known bots, data-center IP addresses (such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud), duplicate clicks, and clicks that happen too soon after an impression; reports separate total clicks from billable clicks. Publishers suspected of fraud have payments held pending review, and confirmed fraud forfeits earnings. Advertisers can dispute charges, including suspected invalid clicks, within 7 days. RevContent pays publishers in U.S. dollars by ACH, PayPal, or wire once earnings reach the payout minimum. Publishers earn on a cost-per-click (CPC) and viewable CPM (vCPM) basis. U.S. publishers are paid by ACH with a $100 minimum; international publishers choose PayPal ($100 minimum, $2,500 maximum per transfer) or wire ($1,000 minimum). Each publisher sets up a payee profile with bank details and a W-9 (U.S.) or W-8BEN / W-8BEN-E (international) tax form. Learn more: Publisher payment requirements
RevContent has no minimum pageview or traffic requirement. Our policy team reviews every application, and each domain is approved separately before ads go live. Sites with illegal, pornographic, or pirated content, or content that promotes illicit drugs, are not eligible; gambling and weapons content is allowed only where legal. RevContent places a native ad unit in each newsletter send, advertisers pay per click, and RevContent shares that revenue with the publisher. The ad code is plain HTML (a link and an image) because inboxes strip JavaScript. RevContent's Email Monetization team builds the code for each publisher, and merge tags from your email platform refresh the ad with every send. Learn more: Email monetization overview
RevContent integrates with Mailchimp, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sailthru, Iterable, beehiiv, Constant Contact, MailerLite, Mailjet, and more than a dozen others. For any other platform, RevContent's team adds the merge tags manually. Learn more: ESP information
RevContent's email ads contain no JavaScript, and a CNAME record lets ad links and images serve from your own subdomain, which supports inbox placement. Reporting also separates Apple Mail Privacy Protection opens from other opens. Learn more: CNAME setup
